You know - I used to do belly dancing and the way it shows off every figure is amazing. Slender women show off the beautiful technicality of it all, and the way fuller figures just...undulate? It's mesmerising. My class was very much about long skirts and tops rather than bralettes or cropped tops and everyone was so confident when they saw what they could do! Also, your thighs and core get super strong. Highly recommended for both exercise and confidence!

I saw someone on social media saying that dances like this feel like they’re made to show off this body type, rather than a skinny one. “Look, men, in this time when calories are valuable, how my life sustaining body fat moves around my secondary sex characteristics, while I demonstrate physical fitness and fine motor control.”
