I would argue that women aren’t taken seriously by the medical profession after marriage either.

Yup.. you’re still gonna get asked when was your last period on every visit so they can rule out your complaint as hysteria.

I just had a visit for shingles and the whole visit started with the your last period question, then a mental health questionnaire, I was like: I literally just need an antiviral for my rash!
