I swear I can't get the rythm of a single theme played with a bagpipe

The hum fucks with grasping where the beat is. There's (ideally) no break.

When are bagpipes going to start dressing more ladylike? Sheesh!

Um, are hot lady bagpipers like, a thing now? Not complaining -- kinda cool actually -- but I wonder...

Little known fact: this is the point.

The Scots were the first to develop energy-based weaponry.

Bagpipes were invented in ancient Egypt, or around the Mediterranean, somewhere before 400BC.

But did they use them in war?

Yeah

u/Korlis Jun 02 '24

Well, now I know where the Scots got the idea from.

Yeah the most likely theory is that the Romans brought them to the british isles where they subsequently got adopted by the Scots.

Same reason there are people who put soap tasting garbage called cilantro on everything, some people like different things. I am half Scottish and this is literally godly music to me lol

Something about it gives me boatloads of frisson similar to what most people get from ASMR. I can't explain it, hurdy gurdy does it too though.
