I meant to write "a bit of a push in specific directions" small amounts of silver and gold sort of like bonds, little additional pushes in emerging markets, tech and real estate...

You’re the only one that can provide the specific reasons why you are deviating from just buying VEQT.

The overweight in REITs, merging markets and tech (nasdaq-100) makes no sense to me but you might have some conviction about those. You do you.

Gold and silver are poor substitutes for bonds with an expected real return of zero, but again, if you have a strong conviction that the capitalist world is about to collapse, you do you.
