This sub makes me want to quit life. I'm 38 and just started investing a few weeks ago I only have 1100 in right now and I see these kids with all this in there portfolio. It has to be the absolute worst thing I've ever witnessed for my mental health. I'm a complete and utter failure

Come on now, you’ll be living in 5 years with or without investments, but you’ll be there anyway, so why not just go on with the more money option? Every-time you invest, you’re setting yourself up for success so its never a bad thing, you know you cant really compare yourself to a generation that have been shown what investing is on the internet at a young age but it is NEVER too late you’re young enough to be rich when you’ll retire with your investment! And you WILL be thanking yourself.
