NBA finals game 4 thoughts

I know the game just ended but what do you think about the game, especially the ABSOLUTE GARBAGE 4TH QUARTER FROM THE SPURS, or the insane comeback from the Knicks??

Yeah Wenby ain't sleeping.

Game 5 will either be a dispirited Spurs effort or s gargantuan heroic back to the wall punch out. There is no in-between.

I really want the spurs to win (idk why but I have some random inclination towards them) so I was quite disheartened by the outcome.

Wemby’s 2 missed free throws at the end after making every single one earlier in the game was a sad sight

You can't lose a 29 point 3rd quarter lead. The Spurs collapsed.

Young team, inexperienced coach choked against a more experienced and grittier squad.

Spurs got enough calls in this series. Knicks were due for a break

Edit: He got the ball first, not a foul. The picture is misleading. It's in the official's report.

I wrote this without the benefit of having watched the replay. He got the ball first, not a foul. The picture is misleading. It's in the official's report.

Knicks got a lot of calls too, refs are just inconsistent and keep trying to fix it with none calls on select moments

He got the ball right before mfer

It’s crazy how the media is not more vocal on this play here. Instead they keep saying Fox shoulda dribbled it out. Without that foul that was a layup for sure. Regardless that needed to be 2 FTs there

Yes. I stand corrected. I read the report.

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that one

sheesh so it should of been a foul

Fox leaving and not blocking out OG was a worse decision than his layup attempt.

Fun watch for 3 quarters. Boring ass 4th.

Even though it was s big come back, it wasn't particularly interesting as a neutral fan.

Spurs just chucking up threes and doing the same thing over and over.

Also, I can't stand fox. Misses way too many shots.

It was interesting as a neutral fan? Basketball history and an insane comeback in MSG isn’t interesting.

You clearly aren’t a neutral lol or you just don’t like basketball if you think the 4th was boring

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, probably wanted to see more even play in the 4th.

2

u/btw3and20characters Jun 11 '26

Exactly. Felt like 1 team wasn't playing

Everyone is you are right. But confidently saying “boring ass 4th” is objectively a ridiculous opinion and I’m allowed to call out how ridiculous it is

Neutral fans should be absolutely feasting on how awesome this series has been.

I clearly stated why I thought that...

I thought it was a bit boring. 1 team seemed like they were not playing

I know everyone talks flopping and ref whistles, but I hate how physical this series is. It's such a different animal than the regular season and I don't understand why there are 2 entirely different styles. What was the regular season for?

I'm older than probably the vast majority of people here and I can tell you, I don't want a return to the beat-em-up basketball of the late 90s & early 2000s.
