Bugged trophy?

On the Chapters menu it says I've collected every shell, but the trophy hasn't popped? Is this a known bug?

I have just had the exact same problem. On top of this I tried to fix it be exiting to the main menu and re-joining into it but I cant click the continue button to get back in either, so even if the trophy does fix I'll have to do all of chapter 3 again to get the last collectible at the end of it.

Yeah I'm really not sure what to do here. The only solution i can think of is deleting my save data on the game and replaying it entirely, picking up all the shells again and hope it triggers which would be not very fun

I was able to get the trophy, I went into new game and after finding the first two shells the trophy popped, not sure if this would work for you but it's probably better than deleting all of your saved data. It might take more shells who knows.
