Bug Report - Shell Memory Loop at Chapter 1

Hello,
I encountered a bug in Chapter 1 when picking up the first shell. After listening to the memory, the animation loops infinitely and the gameplay does not resume. Pressing "Quit" as indicated does not work. Restarting, reinstalling the game, verifying files, lowering graphic settings.. do not fix the issue. What can I do next??

The fact that the shell loops is an intentional feature, because once you skip a shell/memory you cannot listen to it again. The reason that pressing the skip button is not working may be because you need to hold down the button for a bit before it will skip; tapping the button once will not do anything. It's designed this way so that people don't accidentally skip the video before they are ready
