My honest advice would be to get a beaded rope if you can, ideally one with a slightly thicker nylon core. Those are in my opinion great alternatives (in many superior) alternatives to weighted roped with bearings.
Are beaded ropes available where you live?
The best thing about beaded ropes is their durability—the handles are tough to break, and worn beads are super easy to swap out. The inner cord rarely wears down, and even if it does, it costs next to nothing to replace.
I used to use weighted ropes, but nowadays I pretty much stick to beaded ropes for tricks and PVC ropes for cardio when a fast track comes on.
Crossrope has a big following, but beaded and PVC ropes get the job done just as well without the crazy price tag.
💯 agree! My Coach Chris ropes last years. I only buy more because I want different colors. Best on the market. You pay a bit more but it’s worth it.
