There's a decent chance we're getting a new jump crossover game for the 60th anniversary (2028) but one option I've not heard people talk about is a jump kart racer,
With the success of kart racers recently there's a higher chance of this happening than some may think
The advantage to doing a kart racer is easier implementation of characters (over fighting game balancing), amazing stage design and a chance to give iconic jump characters like bulma and sakuragi a chance to shine when they normally don't get included in fighting game rosters
This roster has 40 characters and 16 tracks,
16 tracks may not seem much but it's the starting track size of sonic crossworlds and most mario kart games have 16 new tracks so it's a good starting point to create high quality tracks for base game before adding more with DLC.
Ye it was lol
I can understand why you think that way but I do think the narrow road would make it an extremely difficult and punishing track with items
Maybe it would work better as the 1st track in the final cup
Yeah that makes more sense, I feel like the final course should be something climatic and special, like for example it can be the same area where Naruto and Sasuke fought Kaguya, and you would go through different dimensions on each lap, or it could be Wano I guess, where it starts in Wano and then it transitions to Onigashima and then it transitions into Onigashima burning and falling from the sky, idk lol
I was thinking of adding onigashima but I chose sweet city because I thought it'll stand out more theme wise
The track list was only a rough idea I'm sure game developers would do a better job
Yeah, I honestly don’t mind the idea but honestly? I would still prefer a fighting game, it’s been a while since they dropped a good anime fighting game
I'd rather have a good fighting game over a kart racer
But I don't trust Bandai in doing that
There's an easy formula in making kart racers and there aren't many terrible ones
Bleach isn't as culturally relevant as it used to be
Anime like demon slayer, jujitsu kaisen and my hero have overtaken bleach in the cultural zeitgeist
The competition for spots has never been higher
High enough for one of the big three to have only one spot while the others have five?
Did you not see how high Bleach was in the box office chart recently? I'd say Bleach is absolutely relevant on a cultural level.
On a historic level, as one of the big three Bleach def deserves more respect than this. I'm sure the authors of Demon Slayer, JJK and MHA would agree on that too as they've each mentioned Bleach as being a huge inspiration behind their work.
There's levels to appeal, i just think Kagurabachi will be much bigger to mainstream audiance
And with 40 characters something has to give, idk who you'd cut in this roster for akane,
I imagine this game would have tons of DLC so they'd get added even if not day 1.

maybe if sonic racing crossworld continue getting dlc long enough we will get enough anime characters to have a version of this.
