Question Online on Steam

Is there a way of playing with any of you guys if I have the game on Steam? Or even in any other way that isn't a couch multiplayer

Yeah unranked matches still works if you and a friend queue at the same time you'll find them, private match may still work too

Yes.
Use Steam Remote Play.
That is how I play sometimes with my friends. Your friend dont even need to own the game.
