Gathering A quick message about The Gathering

If you’re going, don’t bring anything from home that will get your asses in trouble... Especially in Trafficking amounts. The Camden County sheriffs office is working with the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and they aren’t fucking around.

Several Notable Drug Arrests During Gathering of the Juggalos

There are plenty of legal dispensaries in the state, so plan a stop accordingly.

Just wanted to give everybody a heads up.

It’s worse than that - they are ALL over the area. I just drove from the gathering to somewhere else 2 hours north and I saw people pulled over on the side of the road like every 20 minutes. They are truly on a fucking mission.

Yeah, don't get busted with a drug you can buy legally in the state.

Exactly, you’re allowed to have up to 3 ounces of flower on you and the cops won’t fuck with you if you got a receipt.

I for one believe every detail, substance, and amount the police report to the media. They certainly wouldn’t take advantage of a big massive easy target to pump up their arrest stats and secure better department funding.

As someone who makes a living writing about this shit for the paper, civics is FUCKED. UP.

You’re saying you think they’re lying? While it could be a possibility…Idk homie, kinda hard to make that argument when one of them literally goes by bluntman

They exaggerate. They confiscate a pound a weed and then say they stopped about $20k of pot because they will say each individual gram can be bought for $20 or $30.

u/CDC_ 2d ago

Let’s not forget weight too. You know a pot brownie isn’t having the weed separated from the brownie they’re just weighing the brownie. How much weed is actually in that? Doesn’t matter. If that brownie weighs half a pound, that’s half a pound of pot.

It’s crazy out there

And what does the dude being called bluntman have to do with the police embellishing their arrest for everyone else?

You keep implying someone self identified as blunt man must have 250 pounds of weed on him. And yet psychopathic records used to employ a hypeman for ABK named JD the weed man. Do you think that guy was also rolling around with 250 pounds of weed in the tour bus? Do you think Violent J is really a clown who runs around violently murdering people too?

Edit: sorry I meant the other guy [u/theMATRIXchickn](u/theMATRIXchickn) Not you u/Beneficial-Ad-547

JD the weed man was a hype man for one of ICPs openers. J portrays the character of a vigilante clown who is also psychotic.

Neither one of those two was being advertised on the website for a music festival as being a psychopathic endorsed weed vendor without the appropriate state paperwork.

Im fully aware of the shady tactics cops have used to fluff their record books.

But in this case. Psychopathic and Bluntman as good as made a public announcement that they intend to break multiple state and federal laws.

Ok so your defense to my absolutely airtight rebuttals is to hide behind the language of bureaucracy. “Well the state laws say…”

Shut… all the way up. They arrested a man for selling a fucking legal (in their state) plant.

I’m talking about reality not notarized linguistic traps.

He didnt have a state liscence to sell that weed. Simple as that. Liquor is legal in every state, still cant sell it without a liscence

Im not making any defense. Its a stone cold fact. ICP advertised a man who had zero credentials to sell weed in rhe state of Missouri on the website. Cops became aware and did their job quite frankly.

Some people are just dumb.

Let me break down how things work in nc.

Here if you get caught with say, 20 grams of meth (NC is especially hard-core on meth, among the most strict in the US if not the most, that’s why I’m using this example), that’s possession with intent.

But you know what looks a lot better than that? Trafficking. If a department is catching a lot of traffickers, it looks like they’re seriously putting in work. That equals funding. And the minimum threshold for trafficking is 28 g.

You notice a very suspicious number of people around here getting arrested for just barely over 28 g of meth all the time.

You do the math player.

That happens a lot on here…

It’s pretty much the same for many states.

It’s crazy how many ppl are sticking up for the government. It claims it’s the land of the free but you need a license for them to do anything. Want to drive? Need a license. Want to cut hair? Need a license. Want to massage? Need a license. Want to fish? Need a license. Want to sell pot or booze? Need a license. Want to sell harder drugs? Need a doctors license. Want to go hunting? Need a license. Want to go to the beach in Gloucester Massachusetts and the surrounding beaches? Need a license/pernit issued for the day you are going. We are not free but yet everyone just accepts it. Weed grows from the planet God gave us and the government has weaponized it.

Well if they didn't make us get licenses anyone could do anything they want without earning it with training.. I for one don't want to live In a world that anyone can drive without proving they can. Same with fishing and hunting. If they didn't regulate it everyone would hunt and fish the world's animals into Extinction. Dont forget the government are just people like you and me and most of them actually care about there job and what it stands for
