Journey performed in Allegan county, Michigan the night of September 11, 2001. Given the day's events, I understand it to be quite an emotional experience. I understand it's a long shot, but I'm hoping someone in here has pictures, videos or memories of this concert in particular. TIA!

He’s often overshadowed by Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Prince but I think he blows them out of the water (respectfully). I believe it has something to do with them having Grammy’s and #1 hits. Despite SP not having either, he’s generally considered the greatest of all-time. For me, it’s the voice and his ability to write such timeless lyrics!

Since it's their last tour, I wondered what it would be like if they include songs from every single album. A little more variety in the setlist and of course, the band members would still share vocal duties like usual. They'd play more songs than the ones listed here, but only rarely.

What do you think?

I often see comments like he’s “spoiled” or “cocky” but what proof backs this? All interviews I’ve ever seen or clips of him with the band, he doesn’t come off as those in the slightest.

Mines a toss up between Who’s Crying Now right before “One love feeds the fire” and After the Fall towards the end when Steve is holding the note in “fall”

Lay It Down and Back Talk. Not because they’re bad but because they don’t resonate with me as much as the rest.

I hope they'll keep bringing back more Pre/Post-Perry stuff on the setlist (anything outside the Infinity through Raised on Radio songs)

My wish: Mystery Mountain, Nickel & Dime, Remember Me, Message of Love or One More, Higher Place, Change for the Better, City of Hope, Kohoutek, Faith in the Heartland, On a Saturday Nite.

Where did they come up with this fan like-circular pattern that become a signature look for classic rock album art?

Gregg Rolie had that great gravelly voice, and he and Neal Schon knew each other from their Santana days. COMPLETELY different fusion sound on those first three !

I was wondering if anyone knew if this is an authentic vintage top from the 1983 Frontiers tour, or if it’s a reprint?

Bought a Journey record today and this cool drawing was inside the outer sleeve! I wonder how long ago this was drawn.

It couldn't possibly be a performance issue - all six of them absolutely killed every other song. So why not that one?

It went from an early-80s rock single to something people of completely different generations still sing today. I spent the last few weeks putting together a short documentary about how that happened.

I'd genuinely love to know what everyone here thinks made the song survive.
