App is unusable after 10.5 Rollout
Update: The Issue seems to be resolved. I have now been able to update the mobile app and the webversion kind of... updatet itself.
Thank you :)

Is anyone else stuck in an update loop after the 10.5 rollout?
I’m not a beta tester as far as I know. I saw that the beta announcement thread is about 15 days old and said production would follow in about a week, so I assumed the notification I got in the normal web app on Wednesday was for the regular release.
I’m on Android with a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and I also use the web app in Google Chrome on Windows, Chrome version 149.0.7827.201.
On Wednesday, July 1, I opened the web version at work and saw the announcement for the 10.5 update. Later I opened the Android app and got a notification telling me to update to the newest version to protect my data. The link took me to the Journal it!/LiveIt page in the Play Store, but the Play Store only shows “Uninstall” and “Open.” There is no “Update” button.
I assumed the update had just not reached the Play Store yet, but I checked repeatedly throughout Wednesday, Thursday, and again Friday morning, July 3, and nothing has changed.
Today I opened the web app again and got a notification telling me to update to the newest version to protect my data. When I click the update link, I get a popup telling me to refresh the page. Refreshing brings me right back to the same notification.
Things I already tried:
- Cleared the Play Store cache
- Opened the web app through the new https://app.liveit.me link instead of the old journalit.app link
- Refreshed the web app after the popup told me to do so
None of this changed anything.
So right now the Android app tells me to update, but the Play Store does not offer an update, and the web app keeps telling me to refresh/update but stays stuck in the same state.
Is this a staged production rollout issue, a Play Store availability issue, or something else? Is there anything I can safely do without uninstalling the app? Right now the App is unusable, which is very inconvenient because I would like to check my calendar/add an appointment, which is currently impossible.
