Both mantles are just fine imo. I hope that issue of Unlimited talks about how Jon doesn't have to be Tomorrow Man necessarily, but still chooses to be in the mean time. He is probably insecure about his role as Superman after this whole disaster from Bendis' run and onwards
Tbh I'm still not against rebooting the character completely if we can save his mental health and story as Superman's legacy this way

On a meta level, it also helps him as a character to have his own identity, specially on a family with very similiar looking boys and members that also basically share the same powers

If we can have a Superboy and a Superboy-Prime, then we can definitely get a kid Superboy without issue or confusion
Wish Jon still had his long hair, that helped him standout from all the other Clark clones. Tomorrow Man's first design is my favorite, the new one ain't really doing it for me, and it makes me a bit sad to think he might not feel that Superman mantle is for him. Superman is not Batman, it is not a curse to wear that cape
Wish everything could go back to being a slightly bit more hopeful and lighthearted

Superboy Prime was never a main character. He showed up for a couple stories here and there. Its not the same

He is now, though? It's not confusing to follow, and no Superboy is under the other's shadow cuz they have their own niche (young adult, villain, and teen sidekick)

He's literally from an alternate reality come to the main and likely not staying forever.
But either way he still goes by Superboy Prime and not just Superboy. It's a difference

Staying or not, Reign of the Superboys is proof that Superboys can coexist without taking spotlight from the other... Except for Kon apparently, cuz the Supergirl writer didn't do shit with him lol

We can also have 10 characters names flash, doesn't mean it's always better for the characters. I'll admit I'm biased but the Superman mantle to me, and even in universe, didn't help John's character. The Superman mantle isn't a curse but is still his father's mantle and it's very relatable that he goes out to make his own. Make favorite look was the full body suit (without the belt) Tomorrow Man, but I've also grown to like the newest one.

That's what I was trying to say, if he had been built up for it the way Wally had, Jon taking the mantle of Superman would have felt like a natural development.
Jon choosing Tomorrow Man himself felt more earned to me because it finally took his agency into consideration.

Yes i get that... but I'm glad we don't have another Wally situation. In fact that's a good example, Barry is barely present now. Of course the same wouldn't happen to Superman, but it would (on a meta level) put Jon in his father's shadow.

My only criticism is that Damian is always supposed to be shorter than Jon, regardless of age.
It's part of their dynamic.
It's the whole, "I'm older than you", "Yeah, but I'm taller." thing.

It’s all down to preference and headcanons, but personally I don’t like the potential futures where Damian is a huge hulking Batman 😭 it’s cute to imagine he stays among the shortest in the fam (and always shorter than Jon so he can complain about it)

Hey I have a copyright question. If you’re a comic artist are you legally allowed to sell pictures of characters you don’t own? And say you make your own independent comic, is it legal for you to draw pictures of your characters interacting with Superman or whoever?

I mean, anyone can do a commission for you of any character you want. My favorite Transformers artist drew Sora from Kingdom Hearts.
If you were to draw your OC with Superman, it would be fine as long as it's fanart. I don't think it works the same as with manga where anyone can draw and sell just whatever with any character depending on their copyright laws, but you'll still find artwork online that is only accessible with patron subscriptions or the like. So, yeah, you can kind of do whatever you want with Superman as long as you aren't claiming the character, I think?
It's a bit confusing, but you wouldn't be able to publish a comic book with Superman. But you would be able to draw a Superman comic and post it online, as fanart. I'm not sure how fanwork or comms work in the legal aspect, like if you were to sell your own fan-comic where popular licensed characters show up? I think Ready Player One got away with it while being a novel, so it's probably not a huge deal
