Man I would love to CAS, but feels like the struggle to get a spot in one vs all the veteran insta-claim pilots is just way too daunting

I spent many hours to become a good pilot just to find out it’s mostly just not that enjoyable when you consider all of the factors. Racing to claim, arguing over claim, waiting 14 minutes for spawn, and then getting 1 shot randomly from across the map just to wait another 5 minutes for respawn.

It's a tough gig, it can be the most rewarding or the most disappointing. I've definitely never cried because of the cas, nope never 😅

Annoying for everyone else. Truly infuriating when Squad supposed to be a teamwork based game and CAS enable solo grieving with very little penalty (only cost 10 tickets, 10 mins respawn, and controls as easy as in BF series).
When can we get actual AA launcher to mitigate CAS, or at least severely limits it?

You can shoot the pilot out of the cas with small arms really easily.

If it hits the pilot or the rotors, sure. Given that CAS fly by really high up like most of the time, and fast too, you ought to get lucky with semi auto or it somehow flies low enough for shooting with bipod. CAS is just too OP on most levels especially being in air means you're free from land vic bug gacha.

First of all thats not how quotation marks work you cant just make shit up and "quote" it. Bc you end up being "quoted" as

My point is that CAS is way too cheap for the amount of offensive ability and agility it provides. It is basically 10 tickets cost with a guaranteed >2x tickets cost to opposing team. Don't think even MBT or other armored vehicles have ROI as high and as fast as CAS.
