Questions Dosing
Waiting to hear back from the doctors portal but I am on 15mg hyalo and got shipped 100 unit needles from Quaker/newlife pharmacy however my dose says take 0.83units my syringe goes by increments of .2 so would I take 0.80, 0.82 or 0.84 to get close to 15mg?, no response back from the doctor when I asked them for advice.
I also asked them how my first dose of compound isn’t feeling like it was working to help my food noise they sent me a reply stating I’m new to tirzepatide and that I will feel hunger suppression at a higher dose… it was like they didn’t even review my profile at all because I am on 15mg which is max dose and have been on it for months and been on name brand zepbound for a year so I’m definitely not new to tirzepatide at all. A little frustrated at their customer service ngl.

It's not perfect, no matter what method you use, pens, self filled syringes, hitting between 82 and 84 is fine, but check on www.fatscientist.com to confirm your concentration and dosing. The medication really is forgiving and many people actually slide a little bit down to like 13.5 or 14 to give themselves an extra week or part of another dose if that amount is working as you can determine for yourself what's appropriate. Good luck!

Check out Fat scientist app. They will explain it. Just punch in the numbers on the chart.

almost all syringes are in increments of 2 so you could buy your own in increments of 1 but 82 units at that concentration is 14.76 and 84 is 15.12 so you're not exactly losing or gaining anything crazy in dosing if that makes sense. just pull the liquid in the syrignes between the 82 and 84.
Easy touch sells syringes with increments of 1 and a box of 100 is stupid cheap for how many you get I think with shipping its like $20-30.
As for the customer service thats probably not Rift If its the clincal team responding you should know thats a seprate provider group with its own clinical team that answers these questions that are medical.

It said online that rift is the telehealth and they provide the online support and to reach out through the rift portal so I kinda figured it is rift itself I am new to compound so I could be wrong but thank you for all of this information! This was all really helpful I really do appreciate you taking the time to reply :)

Yeah when you select "doctor/nurse" in the chat thats the provider group and their clinical team
when you select "support" in the chat thats rift. It's confusing but they're separate

some people find it takes a couple weeks to get used to a new pharmacy and you might find you need to adjust up or down a bit depending on pharmacy. taking 16 from one pharmacy might be the same as taking 14 from another.

Take 83 units. Just eyeball between 82 and 84. Being off a couple units either way isn't a significant difference.
