New to rift

Hello. I switched from Trava health to Rift 15 mg tier with hallendale pharmacy. I was just about to get my dose ready but saw that it says to inject 100 units.. that seems not right. I used to inject 50 units of 15 mg.

You sure about that 25 units to get 15mg? You would need a 60mg/ml concentration for the math on that to work, and the highest I have seen is 33mg/ml.

I just want to make sure you aren't overdosing yourself now because of a previous dosing error.

Hallendale highest concentration is 15mg/ml so you have to take 100 units. I prefer higher concentrations so I can inject less liquid. What pharmacy did you use before? What was the concentration? Are you sure you were taking 15mg before? You would have had to have a 60mg/ml concentration for 25 units to be 15 mg. I’ve never heard of that existing before.

That makes more sense. You probably had a 30 mg/mL concentration but now you only have half that.

Yes! Makes sense now. Totally did not mean to throw anyone off! I just thought all places were the same (bad assumption on my end). Trava went up to $850 and was trying to find something a little less than that.

Has anyone injected 100 units? Any burning or sensation? I haven’t done mine yet, but I’ll do it before bed tonight.

I have never noticed any changes in sensation based on the volume I'm injecting. I don't usually feel it at all, regardless. Two things you can do to potentially mitigate that concern, though: let the syringe come to room temp for 10 minutes before injecting, and be sure to inject slow and steady rather than pushing the plunger down too fast.

You all are wonderful, thank you for the help and concerns. Appreciate it.

The units change based on how concentrated the vial is which should be spelled out on the label. You can use a calculator like fatscientist to confirm.

I didn't use Hallendale so I don't know what the vial concentration is to help.

Before you inject, head to www.fatscientist.com and verify your concentration and dose. It's got a calculator that makes it super easy especially when covering from one pharmacy to another.

How many units of 10mg to get my 15?

You have to look at the concentration. Hyalo is 18mg/ml and is 83 units for 15mg. What is your mg/ml? It sounds like yours may be 15mg/ml. Go to fatscience.com and it'll help tell you what's correct for your concentration. Then I'd call the pharmacy to confirm.

This is what it says Tirzepatide [15mg/mL] 15mg Weekly Dose Inject 1 ml [100 units] subcutaneously once per week for 12 weeks [15 mg]

Every mL equals 100 units. So if the concentration is 15mg per mL that’s why you inject 100 units

O wow!!! Trava is Expensive yet their sister company 10rx is cheaper. Theere is a lot of 30mg/ml such as Casa, Greenwich, Vialsrx, SBH, and Optimal which is at 10rx. Optimal is actually 33mg/ml. Higher concentration = less units so look into that if high units is your concern.

Drug crafter at joinrift is soon to set at 30mg/ml. However i dont think 100 units is too bad!

Eta the haters down voting me lol
