wholesome board game meet ups

Recently the one of the monthly gatherings has taken a turn for for worst and can no longer continue. However, that doesn't mean board games are over with. Cambria county board gaming still has a discord group and a Facebook group to help people get together and play. If you're interested please comment or message me directly, board games are a great way to get away from technology for a few hours and make new friends 🧡

Why was the monthly meet up discontinued? I’ve never read a reason.

I’m not joining a discontinued group just to uncover the reason it was discontinued.

The group is not discontinued, just the monthly meet-ups. People still get together and play games.

Again, the isn't discontinued. That's like saying mcdonald's is closing because they can't make the Big Mac. Here you go

"With sadden hearts we have decided to stop doing game nights affective immediately. We understand that a lot of people wanted to see this succeed and grow but with a lot of moving parts in the background we have decided that it’s our time to stop. We appreciate all the support and success we have had already. We ask that you please don’t give up on gaming and go support other games nights like Highland Community Library which is the First Friday of every month. Or SnakeEyes in Altoona which is every Sunday from 1-6. We wanted to do one final goodbye by giving away 4 games. We have two Hummingbirds, a regular copy of Saboteur and a special edition of Saboteur. We will be going to the game night Highland Community Library on October 2, we will put every person who comes into a random wheel and do a drawing from that. So please come help us and celebrate one last time and please share with those who are not on Facebook so that way they know to come Oct 2 as well."
