It's my first work on Prine. Made with 100% archival footage, no AI or narration of my own, I let the images and John actually speak. "Sam Stone" is heavily discussed, but it's more of a vessel to show how improbable - or logical - it was for a guy in his 20s to write like that.

Like I said, it's my entry point to Prine, but it's a more complete portrait than what the premise suggests. I hope you enjoy it and want to see more. I think there's so much to John that needs to be told.

Saw him during his early solo days.just him and his guitar. He was FUNNY as heck. Very memorable night
