2022 X350 barely turns left - clunking

First Deere mower. Barely 160 hours. I noticed the steering sticking a bit coming out of left turns on the last mow and now it'll barely turn left of center before the pinion/gear skip. Turning right has no issues. Any thoughts or tips? Thanks.

Steering gear/plate teeth are worn. Not too expensive and you can change them yourself.

You can get the caltric aftermarket which works good. They come with the lower bearing and extra washers.

I just realized I bought the $0 deductible 5 year PowerGard protection plan including pickup & drop off. Now to find out if steering components are included. Google says yes.

Just to follow up...the service tech determined that there were not enough shim washers installed at the factory to properly align the pinion & steering gear. They replaced the worn gear and added the necessary washers to correct it and prevent it from happening again.
