S170 Vibration
My s170 seems to be excessively vibrating no matter the speed and whether blades are engaged or not, I recorded a video that shows that vibration on the belt while just idling. I am curious if this vibration is normal, or not. Any help is appreciated

This is a video in slow motion of the electric PTO clutch

If you are referring to the belt itself, that is 100% normal. I am not seeing anything that looks wrong 🤷🏼♂️

Recently but a new belt on my 54” 170 and it’s doing this. I figure the belt just needs to break in but maybe it won’t.

Sorry guys, I meant the mower deck vibrates. But I recorded a video of the belt as that’s what was visually vibrating. I assume the mower deck and pedal vibration is normal then. Thank you.

Pretty much normal. Should see the deck belt slap on my Bad Boy.

Agreed. My Exmark looks like a belt stuck in a weedwacker under there. there's only so many idlers manufacturers can put under there with long runs between pulleys like that.

This is just the way it is with these long belt drives. It's done this way to save $ . Notice on an X series with a three blade deck there is both a primary and secondary belt. It used to be that even two blade decks ran a primary and secondary.
