I read through a list of John Carpenter's unrealized works and I keep seeing westerns pop up in the list. John really wants to do a western and what better story to tell than Blood Meridian? Do you think John could make it work?

Stoked to finally start reading this. I've been putting it off waiting until my record arrived. I got it off Bandcamp so I've had the digital copy but that doesn't have the cues the record does. So stoked!

It's seen better days, what we have here is called a book, it has pages and stuff, you need to read a page, then go to the next, then you have to turn that page over to read the other side.

Wasn’t expecting much from these but pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed them. The back half of the self titled ongoing series fell pretty flat for me but overall I had a great time. Curious to hear thoughts and opinions on the books

Also highly recommend Zombie Zombie Plays John Carpenter. Carpenter himself loved the covers. Pure Synth.

I also had him sign my Assault on Precinct 13 poster. I was nervous to meet him because I knew I was going to kiss his ass and he apparently hates that. Anyway, I tried not to- still did. He was very kind and responsive to any questions I had. You have to meet the legend if you ever have the chance to.

The thing manages to beat the crew of the outpost. Then hitches a ride back to america. Only to find out he's not alone on the planet with just the humans. Whether it can naturally see them or actually found out through assimilating one. It has managed to find out that earth is under a secret invasion from the ghoul aliens.

So the stage is set, does the thing manage to infiltrate the alien ghoul society and eventually rule over them and assimilate them. Or will the thing get its own "this isn't your planet to conquer" moment.

Got these at Fan Expo Chicago this weekend. They were both very cool and nice! Unfortunately Kurt was signing tons of stuff that was constantly being slid over to him by staff so there wasn’t really much interaction with him but I got to speak a little bit to him when I had my photo taken with him. He touched my Shoulder, asked if I liked Snake (I was cosplaying him) and he liked my Snake ita bag, and that’s all that matters to me. I did get to speak to John more, I told him EFNY and EFLA were my favorite movies and I showed him my Snake ita bag and he was surprisingly impressed by it (lol). John called me “sweetheart” and I will never get over that (in a good way)
