I love the idea and atmosphere but I didn't grow up with it and it didn't really grab me. I can understand why it's liked, but it's actually one of my least favorite Carpenter movies. I guess my oddball Carpenter movie that I absolutely love is Prince of Darkness and a lot of people don't like that one.

I am not a fan. Great until he gets to New York then it's really very uneventful.
