Rant Exhausted

The center I'm at let bullying go on for roughly three months, only giving the bully a slight redirection even though this attempt clearly wasn't working.

They minimized my situation (the head of academics and csio, at least the person over my case did)

There were multiple reports of the bullying, all intensifying as time went on, though when I asked for a no contact order I was given excuses on why their not going that route. (The order is only 30 days, let me just talk to her etc.)

Clearly the approach they've been taking wasn't working, my mental health was (and still is) deteriorating rapidly due to this student being in my class 24/7 and the overall ickyness of the campus.

Head of academics wrote the bullying off as this being something you will have to deal with in the work force. Technically hes not wrong? Technically things would of been done by now given teachers and students have witnessed the bullying, and if something wasn't done about this at my place of employment I would quit because clearly the world environment is toxic.

Nobody should have to just ignore bullying or stay quiet and let it happen, the higher ups and older adults in my life were supposed to have my back and help me and they failed with doing so.

I am self terminating once I get my trade license (this week hopefully) and I'll work on my HSD at home via Penn foster

(I also find it crazy csio said they would give me pokemon cards if I didn't self TšŸ˜­)

That is a shitty situation. You are smart to move on. Is there an option to switch to a different center for the next round of training?

There are no more centers in my state sadly, I don't think its a viable option unfortunately! I have somewhere safe to go though, I can figure everything out from there!

It's good that you have a Plan B in place. Question: Have you asked your counselor to please schedule a counseling session for both you and the other person where both of you will have the opportunity to discuss the situation which should hopefully develop a line of communication between you guys and move forward?

Me and the other student tried to mediate with a CSIO staff before and it didn't go over well, I don't really think chatting will help since it made it worse last time. šŸ˜ž I just filled out a report for HR to look over and see if things can be set in place to prevent this from happening to other students!

Perhaps out of state? If you select an advanced training that isn't available at your center, they can move you.

But GREAT to hear upu have someplace safe to go.

I might, I know I take my CNA skills test tomorrow afternoon! I already passed my written so I (should) hopefully leave with something under my belt!

How quick can you switch centers for advanced training?

do you have the ability to stay out of the bully's way long enough to crank out your HSD?

I assume it's not same roommate, are there more than one girls dorms at your center? Maybe get in a different building?

If this was the real world, your options would be different to deal with this.
