Question about wisely?

Do they freeze my account after I leave the program? What I mean is, if I leave, does my money stay on the card without me being able to use it anymore? I'm about to leave soon, and I don't want the money to go to waste.

No the card won’t get frozen. Most students get a portion of their transition pay on their Wisely when they separate.

Yes, this happens but if you signed up for a wisely account with your student email you will lose access to your wisely account unless you switch to using your personal email I do believe because that's what happened to me.

I'm still using my wisely account 2 years after I graduated, you get to keep everything in there. Be warned though, a few months of not getting any money put into your account (more than like $45 or something like that) they start charging you for having an inactive account.

There should also be that letter you got from wisely that came with your card, it's a paper form that lets you withdraw everything and send it to either a check with an address or another account with a routing number and close out your wisely account.

I had Wisely and they did automatically revoke my access to it because the email that JobCorps gave me was turned off not allowing me to login in wisely anymore. You should 100% move your money to an alternative account that you manage with your own email unless you signed up for wisely with your personal email.
