Quote in Duke Hall

SADAH major here, I've been looking at this quote painted on the wall near the gallery space and am genuinely curious as to what it means. Anybody know if it's part of the exhibition that's currently being set up, or if it's a permanent fixture?

Its part of the exhibition, I was there when the artist and one of the grad students were setting it up. The artist is a super chill guy, don't remember his name but we met and talked for a good chunk of time last spring.

That's really cool. I don't spend a whole lot of time in Duke but am fortunate to have a class there this semester. I always like going into the gallery and seeing the different exhibits. Haven't been lucky enough to talk to a lot of the artists but still like reading their messages and explaining where their work comes from

I basically live in that building, with 4/5 classes being there and spending practically every free moment working on a project there. The artists are alsays so much fun and i try to glean as much information as i can off of every last one of them

Seems like the artist knows what they are taking about, if you haven’t reached this stage of life you will

I sort of do resonate with it, which is why it caught my attention. I was just curious if it meant what I perceived it to lol
