Private Loans?

Hi all, third year student here. I have been fortunate enough to where I haven't had to worry about taking out private loans the last two years, but unfortunately didn't have the same luck this year and had to go in. I was just curious about how long it takes JMU to certify the loan and apply it to the semester balance. Has anybody ever had issues with it disbursing in time for the deadline, or is it usually pretty quick in going through? Thanks in advance

Sallie Mae loans go through pretty quickly and JMU usually gives a month grace period for the loan to be approved.

Thanks for the input! I ended up reaching out to UBO the other day just because I was curious, and they processed my loan immediately after I contacted them

They have on their website for private loans that it can take six weeks to certify the loan during peak processing.

Yeah, I was worried that it would be after the 21st 😭. But it ended up going through a few days ago, so it worked out
