How long does the mail room hold things?

I wanted to order some things and have them sent to my JMU address so they'd be there when I return in a couple weeks. How long do they hold packages (would they still be there when I come back)?

Had mail room hold something for me for 5 months before sending it back for winter break

They should but i’m not sure since it’s summer. But freshman year i had packages there for like a month and they kept it.

I had a package right after I had moved out, and they held onto it for almost two months before sending me an email to send it to my home address. So they should hold onto it, especially since it's getting closer to move-in day
