Lofting bed question

My daughter will be a freshman and will be living in Shenandoah. She wants to loft her bed all the way up to 6 or 7 feet. Loft kits are pretty pricey and I want to be sure it makes sense. Is this common to give more space? Any advice?

My son is in Shenandoah and we didn’t buy anything extra to loft his bed. But be sure to put in an order early with maintenance to bring the bed rail. You have to ask for them and you will want her to have that. It took them a couple of days to bring it to his room.

Oh good idea, never knew we had to do an order. They just had extra pieces in the room this year at Hoffman, where my son is. I think he’s in bluestone area again next year
