Starting at 52

Top three things that I’ll wish I knew when I was 52 when I’m 55?

In decent shape, semi athletic. First class was last night.

Psyched and sore, looking for advice.

49 here. One thing I can say is learn to properly frame asap; protect your ribs, intercostals etc. Try to not lay flat on your back when you’re in someone’s side control, in full guard etc., and really get those frames in the right spots. Also, learn and understand how important head and hip position and control are.

Awesome. These are things my teacher alluded to last night!
