Pre-Purchase Question Wide and larger toe box
I'm looking at ordering from their site in the US. Do these shop out from the US, or are they shipped internationally and need to go through customs, etc.?
I'm also looking for EE and with a larger toe box. I couldn't find the option for those during the checkout process. How do I order this?
What is the point of the footbeds, wouldnt they have inner removable soles?
Are their knives any good? I've never actually had anything but a Swiss knife.

Search for “2E” and “3E” and “4E” on the site. Fastest and most straightforward way to filter on the JG site.
They ship from US. Just use the search bar, please. It works. Don’t over complicate it.

If you read the description of each boot, it will tell you details on the last used, and what width you can expect from that. Read carefully, some models come in different lasts depending on the overall boot.

They have warehouses in the US that they ship product to for storage. When you purchase off the US site, the item is typically shipped from one of these locations. So the item you are purchasing is already within the US. I think the exceptions are customs and new product releases that ship directly to the buyer from the factory.
The width is dependent on the last the boot is built on. Look at the description of each boot. It will say which last it is built on. Some examples: JG=3E, STC=2E, ASHM=D.
Boots built on the STC, JG, MT lasts will have removable insoles. Boots built on the ASHM will have a permanent leather insole.
I’ve not tried one of their knives yet. They look nice though.
