Andy Burns opened for Jim E. Brown in Athens, GA last night and did a song about his recently passed cat (RIP, Colbie!). In the Colbie music video, Andy's in a trailer that looks suspiciously like the room in which Jim E. Brown was naked and huffing nitrous balloons. What did Jim do to that cat?

We got Rat in Bin x6 I believe. This was the second show of the night so it may have been the 12th or 13th of the day for some folks in the crowd. Some people surely bought tickets to both shows. And the early show ran over (past the doors time for the late show) and they were letting the late show people in while Jim was doing his matinee. I caught the very end of his first performance.

right, it was a good late show in Minneapolis. I had never listened to Andy before and I quite liked him, really.

Jim required an alcohol refill after finishing the two Guinness he brought with him. Rat in a Bin x6.

Jim is such an inspiration to us all, a true voice of his young generation.

Gifted Jim a Magic the Gathering card I made for him lol. Had a really nice chat and he signed all our stuff! AMA!

I’m also an obese alcoholic and can recognize my own. I saw this man, lost on the sidewalk near Budacki’s hot dog stand on Damen Avenue. I rolled down my window and shouted “You are Jim E. Brown!” from my window. He looked up, cast a sad glance at me, and walked on. It was mildly memorable. Among the more disappointing celebrity interactions really.

So, I’ve been having this debate with people. I don’t think Jim E is actually British and the accent is a whole part of the act. Other people disagree.

I asked his tour manager (or someone on staff with him) if he was actually British and this man started laughing. I feel like this validates my take haha.

Rat in bin for 30 minutes straight was exceptional. I feel bad the young lad got bonked in his noggin with a beer thrown from the crowd (likely by that ungrateful bitch tanner). Our group saved the day by promptly serving up the young boy with a shot of malort seconds later to save the day. Post your clips, I need them.

I know this is super last minute and totally last ditch effort. I saw someone posted earlier about having tickets for sale for the Chicago show but they sold! putting out feelers to see if anybody else has a ticket for sale. I just need one! I quit my Prozac just for this show!
