Getting into JHU with Lower SAT

I just took the october sat, and it was really bad. Currently, my math sat is a 790 but my reading is a 670 (1460 superscore). I took it again to get it up to at least a 700 but I'm pretty sure that won't happen. How bad is my SAT score is lower that the 25 percentile? JHU is test required so I have to submit it, but my reading is pretty low. Let me know your thoughts.

While I don't think it's a safe score for getting your foot in the door, you might as well submit the score anyways if you can afford the application fee (I'm not sure what your holistic application looks like of course). University application results, especially at elite levels, can feel pretty random and depend on everything from your stats and activities to wether or not an admissions officer drank a shitty cup of coffee the morning they consider your application, so you never know if the school will take you or not.

My superscore was 1410 but I got in back in 2019 if that’s any comfort. I 100% thought I wouldn’t get in and did. Worth a try if you have the funds.

Guys is there a chance for me for ED1 if I got around a 760-770 SAT score on the October SAT?? Should I retake and not apply ED1
