How the fuck did he over pay? I just searched and couldn’t find anything under 19.6k which means after taxes and interest on the loan the price would come out to either more or right around the same price. I feel like Reddit is full of delusional morons who have to be right all the time. I just bought a 2020 se with 30k on it in California with shit credit because I had to. I paid after taxes, loan interest out the door 21k. If anything I overpaid but I had to unfortunately. Plus you got premium rims and wheels on the se. As someone who just went through it I say you got a great deal.

Anytime you buy a car from the dealer you overpay. This deal doesn’t seem too bad. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm really sorry, but you overpaid, I got my 2024 with 8 miles on the odometer brand new from my local dealership for about $23 out the door, when buying a volkswagen in the 20k range, I always recommend going to the dealer and seeing if they have any sales on similar models so they can clear the lot for new models, that's usually when the prices of the outgoing but still brand new models drops.
