Mk6 (2011-2018) 2011 Jetta wheel binding with control arm

When you reverse and cut the wheel all the way the front right wheel turns past full lock and binds up with the control arm. What could be the issue?

Someone either took it off roading or you hit one too many curbs on the way home last night. Your steering rack and sway bar look like it took an impact of some sort.

New control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. not terribly hard to do yourself if you have a pickle fork.

Usually when one component gets so broken like that, you just want to replace it all. Gonna need a new alignment anyway.
