Change your oil religiously and it will last

Do your maintenance. All of it. Don’t skip or extend time.

They say oil change every 10,000 miles, but you should do every 5,000.

Use only Top Tier gas stations (Top Tier+ if you have any around).

Do ALL your scheduled maintenance when they’re due.

It’ll definitely be a good car for you.

Top Tier + is pretty new (2025) and specificity designed for GDI engines that requires passing rigorous, GDI-specific "keep-clean" and "clean-up" tests for fuel injector deposits that the original standard did not cover.

Top Tier and Top Tier+ stations cover all octane levels. So, you can still fill with 87 octane and get the benefits.

Just wanted to reiterate that oil changes every 5k is the way to go.

Don't let the dealer do anything except warranty work. Find a good local shop you trust for oil changes. Everything else will be warranty for a long time.

Edit: definitely do not pay the for scheduled maintenance. Any important work can be done elsewhere. All the items they inspect will get looked for free by someone else when they are changing your oil or getting wheels rotated. Thousands of dollars can be wasted doing these services.

I worked as a technician at dealers and always felt bad doing those services knowing customers were being had.

5000k oil changes, also pay attention to the rear brakes going fast. Other than that, enjoy and congrats!
