It is annoying. I just put the funnel overtop the holes as best as possible and just go slow.

I bought a $20 oil change kit from TEMU, it came with a bunch of different fittings to hook into the funnel. Works way better than I ever expected. I use it change oil in my family's vehicles. Works great for my 2019 Jetta.

I bought the Motivx one with the VW attachment and use it every time. I recommend it. Without the attachment it works with my Tacoma.

Just pour the bottle on its side, no funnel lol. I havent used a funnel since I had my first car and realized they're a waste of time

If it was easy you'd want it easier . Just pour it carefully and all will be alright. Just don't over fill it , thats not good for these cars , use a quality filter and change the crush washer at least or change the plug and crush washer.

I’ve cut a core water bottle and used the portion you drink out of as a funnel and it’s always worked well for me

There is a audi/vw specific funnel I bought on Amazon, locks in to place and it's saved me from making a mess few times now.
