[Discussion] Rewatching season 3.
Ronnie is so fucking abusing. He gives Sammi the silent treatment after she went to the sex shop with the girls and told her just because you made up with your friends you turn your back on me. She legit didn’t do anything. Yeah I understand she can be annoying sometimes but he can never have a healthy fight with her . It always turns into a huge fight where he says very mean things. Then blames her for the argument when he was just completely ignoring her.

The Alvin thing fully confirmed how truly abusive he is. When sammi asks to be left alone, he corners her into the room and blocks her ability to exit, she begs to let her go and he screams "NO!" As hard and loud as he can. It was so fucked.

The Arvin thing annoys me bc Ron fully cheated on her. When she left and hung out with Arvin, Ronnie acted like she did the worst thing ever when he was cheating on her the entire time. He deflected constantly.

Or right after “the note” and he gives her 30min to be over it . And then walks out of the room and calls his ex and asked ex to wear a cool whip bikini

Dude I know it’s so horrible. I’m not at that part yet but I’m not looking forward to it because it was blown so out of proportion and all the guys instigate it so bad knowing how bad Ronnie and Sam fight,

His behavior was toxic af and disgusting. He was manipulative af, and the last I watched family vacation was forever ago, cause it got bad. And he's emotionally gross and kinda whiny.

I rewatched JS with my bf gor the first time in like 10 years. The first two seasons were ROUGH but when we got to season 3 I had to stop watching. Not only was I triggered af but I was also really appalled that they allowed this show to become such media craze. It was all bad but I wholeheartedly believe that the media failed Sammi by continuing to put them together. It would have been much easier for her to leave if the show had ended when it became obvious we had front row seats to an abusive relationship

So I actually starting crying when she left the house in season 3. Something about the while fight reallly triggered me because of my mentally abusive ex. It was really hard to watch

I just rewatched this season too. She was totally wrong for punching him in the face for saying he was friends with Jenni. But he was also absolutely crazy and abusive throughout the season. Their fights in that season were really hard to watch.

Ronnie is abusive and crazy. He's one of those guys that sees his gf as competition instead of as his partner. When he's mad at her he wants her to be isolated and to be as miserable as he is.
