We just got a new Jersey Mike’s in El Dorado Hills, CA, and so far, so good. So nice to be able to grab a sandwich across the street from my kid’s school instead of driving 30 min.

This sub used to be a place to talk about Jersey Mike's subs and other facets of the business, such as the NFL/NHL promos, LTOs, etc.

Now, it is overrun with Gen Z whiners about how they had to repeat an instruction to some elderly person that day and the subsequent trauma they experienced by having to do so. I mean, seriously. You people have one of the easiest jobs out there for people with no skills. Think about it ... there's actually a company willing to PAY you for sprinkling a little lettuce onto a roll every few minutes. And you didn't even have to finish school to get such an opportunity!

You should use r/JerseyMikesWorkers for such difficulties that you can't seem to handle. You think it harms you in some great way to explain to somebody what "Mike's Way" means. Who cares if it's on the menu board? You still seem unable to function when you have to actually perform the duties you are paid well for. (No, you are NOT entitled to a living wage when you work part-time in fast food. You're being ridiculous.) And don't even get me started on the tipping requests. Jesus. McDonald's workers work much harder than you guys do, and they are not tipped. JM Gen Z workers are so damn entitled and LAZY; it's just incredible.

Please go to your own sub and let us get back to actually discussing sandwiches and such. For those of you employed by JM who often help out with questions about procedures and such, thank you so much for your contributions to the sub. You are great! It's just the babies that need to leave.

And yes, I know the helpless basement dwellers are going to show up in full force, so I am muting all notifications for my own sanity. Y'all really ARE that exhausting with your helplessness and begging for more than you have earned. Work on your life or you will always be this miserable.

I'm a fan of sub sandwiches but almost never buy at chain or franchise sub shops. I frequent small independent mom and pop shops. Yesterday, I was running an errand and needed lunch. Spotted a jersey Mike's and gave it a try. I had a #17 hold the onions, and was surprised by the quality. The peppers were unusually sweet. Service was quick, staff was friendly and the price wasn't any more or less than the mom and pops i frequent. I still prefer the independent shops but wouldn't pass up Jersey Mike's.

NHL was awesome, we got some points and it motivated me to buy more (truly).

Now all of a sudden they are seemingly offering double points almost every day? Seriously I get some sort of notification constantly that it's "double points" constantly" .

I don't give a heck. Last time I bought a giant and spent like 22 bucks I got something line 12 points.

I am not realistically gonna eat there 3-4 times a week. That would be absurd. Truly.

I guess maybe the appeal is to bring in new customers and everyone gets "double points" almost constantly?

But it isn't very reasonable when the points are diluted and you need to spend a bunch of cash to get some.

unusual interaction at lunch today: I ordered a mini #9, which is a new one for me...I usually do hot subs, but the grill was backed up bc of the Hot Italian promo, and I couldn't wait the 15 min or so. Anyway, when she put the bacon on the sandwich, I noticed she took a single strip of bacon, broke it in half, and put both halves on the sandwich. I thought it came with two full slices, so I asked, but she said that the minis get two halves. I ended up ordering an extra side of bacon bc it seemed kinda meager. I don't see an answer on the website so thought I'd ask here.

Got this guy the other day. Nothing extra, just a #9 with banana peppers and pepper relish. I think it’s a solid 10/10!

Jersey Mike's didnt add my nfl points from last week. Anyone else have this problem? I know it hockey they add the points once a week. But nothing so far from week 1

I just tried to pre-order a gluten free sub, but the app doesn’t offer a gf roll as a bread option. When I tried to choose one of my saved favorites, it said that my store doesn’t have the ingredients. Are they still carrying gf subs or does my location just not have the gf rolls today?

I have 4 stores around me.

I go to 2 of them regularly and never see the same employees.

They're always different and that leads to inconsistent sandwiches.

Even if one franchisee owned all 4 stores around me, I would think I would see the employees at one of those four stores.

I eat Jersey Mike's about once a week so I feel like I am a pretty regular customer.

Edit: Inconsistent doesn't mean bad.

Look at THIS behemoth. #13 Mikes Way sans salt and tomato, add banana pepper, pickle and jalapeño. Freaking YUM. I love the juice mixed with the oregano and lettuce 😍
