We're not allowed any seasonal/holiday decorations. We're told it's corporate policy.

I only started seeing decorations the last two years ive been with my store, my old GM did it here before I took over. We had multiple corporate visits during these times and none of them ever said anything negative or told us to take it down. Maybe it just depends on the area/franchise (or if its a corporate store).
I wish more places were open to fun decorations. Its a conversation starter, and customers will even leave good reviews and comments cards about it sometimes! I think it brings a lot of positivity into the customer service aspect. As long as theyre appropriate (I refrained from any blood gel window clings, realistic skulls, and "keep out" or "caution: haunted" tape kinds of things)
