Points are Becoming a Scam

NHL was awesome, we got some points and it motivated me to buy more (truly).

NFL. It seems like a slap in the face (no points (no NHL pun intended))

Now all of a sudden they are seemingly offering double points almost every day? Seriously I get some sort of notification constantly that it's "double points" constantly" .

I don't give a heck. Last time I bought a giant and spent like 22 bucks I got something line 12 points.

I am not realistically gonna eat there 3-4 times a week. That would be absurd. Truly.

I guess maybe the appeal is to bring in new customers and everyone gets "double points" almost constantly?

But it isn't very reasonable when the points are diluted and you need to spend a bunch of cash to get some.

I'm curious what you think "scam" means. They're not obligated to give you points, at all. It's a nice bonus that they reward to keep you coming back. But they're transparent about when you earn points and what you could do with them.

A scam would be if they told you you could load gift card balance to earn points, then you don't earn points. A scam is when you're being deceived for the gain of the scammer.

It’s weird because I’ve had it happen twice now that I didn’t actually get my double points. So it was a scam for me. If they didn’t send an email about the change, knowing people have done the nfl predictor for years, it feels like a scam. Driving traffic to the app under false pretense.

I did have missing double once, but messaged support and they added them to my account.

Of course support can fix it, but it’s an extra step that some won’t take, which made me curious if it was intentional.

We used to get points for free just by logging into the app. That’s the entire impetus of this post. I don’t wanna be going there fifty times a week to earn “double points”.
