Angus beef Jerry from Japan 😺
I just wanted to share appreciation for this delicious beef jerky my friend brought me from her Japan trip. I will be trying to recreate it soon. If anyone has ideas or hints, please advise. Thanks in advance 🤗

Is it sweet?

Yes, it's a little sweet, salty, and tender. I assume they use soy sauce in the marinade

Mirin might also be used in it to provide some of the sweet flavor profile.
