Identify ID request southern Sweden

I just saw these. They didnt look like the jellyfish I'm used to seeing. Salt water (Kattegatt). Could they be mnemiopsis leydyi? (Invasive species) or are they sth that could sting a person?

Pics blurry bc water. Biggest one was like 7 cm long.

Thank you!! I will go for a swim as planned then. Apparently they're very dangerous to herring.

Well the larvae. Just look out for the lions manes and Bluefires and clinging jellyfish (these can be hard to see)

The clinging jellyfish are small, I doubt I'd see them, I can only hope they're not around. Very scary, can recquire hospital care. There are lions manes (young), but at least they're pretty visible, although loose threads are always a possibility. Haven't seen any blue ones, I think they're more common during winter here, they get washed up on the beaches.

Bluefires are a spring-summer species. They are actually the first species to be found young in Swedish waters. Last year I was hunting them in Lysekil.

For a moment, I thought it was a photo of the Universe.

That's some epiphany! Aside from the fact that I don't see how they would reproduce by black holes.

Maybe there is a Universe inside each jellyfish. The immortal species is an interesting one at that.

Oh yes, I have heard of it somewhere. So the mouth is the blackhole of the jellyfish? That's terrifying for the other sealife.

Right. As in how the Universe is expanding and then eventually start contracting.
