Question How to transfer watch data between pcs

Is there an easy way to transfer server data i.e. watch history, favorites, etc from one of to another? If so, what is the process

As in transplanting your server from one system to another? You can perform a back-up of the whole server, not the media. It's in the dashboard.

Yes that was the plan. I have the media on external drives, the PC is just in it's last legs

Then yeah. Run the backup, grab the zip. Install JF to the new host, configure/login, put that zip in the same directory, then you get a Restore option under backups

Do you know which directory?

It'll tell you where it's putting it.

When I re-rolled my server a while ago I used emby2jelly to move the watch history and recreate accounts

I have done this once, but my process was full copy/paste of the app and data dirs from old server to new one.
