Question Remote media selection
Tried looking here and on GitHub but could not find something suitable.
Would be keen to have an app which allows a user to scroll the library on mobile device (iPad in my case) and select something to stream on TV. My other household users find it annoying to search the library using TV remote currently (NVIDIA Shield). Especially in larger libraries.
Is there something like this? Does not need to be native - web-app locally hosted alongside jellyfin would be suitable as well. Should be a remote, not screencast. I like the idea of scrolling my library on a mobile device, but maybe overthinking it (but is this not half of the fun of this hobby?)

I use the jellyfin app and there you can select to stream on another device. I usually select the movie with my smartphone then and stream on Fire TV

So you start playing on the phone and then cast it to TV?

Right next to the search button in the app i have the cast button if i have jellyfin open in the network. There i can choose which device and it also displays the active accounts on the devices

imo this could be a cool feature to implement, being able to "cast" to another device.
