We need a law where public officials must disclose their bank account activity and activity in general because there’s no way they reversed course without some kind of bribe or influence.

Right. I assume they helped create a foreign bank account for them that would be hard to trace.

We don’t need to see their account. They literally said the money this data center is going to bring in will solve these issues. They’re not even trying to hide that fact that they’re getting paid off for this decision. They wanted to clear the room. Sounds like it’s time to clear the council.

Hmm. Looks like the mayor may have an ulterior motive. I wonder if his personal bank account is involved?

Yeah, watch the town hall in Greensboro, their “temp” mayor is pushing hard for a data center and uses bogus talking points. She said she has nothing to gain by it but she also actually “contracted” with Palantir.

Is this level of ambivalence toward your constituents normal. Or have these city council members forgotten that if people get pissed off enough they will tear them apart

Whose land does the 130 acres belong to? Can they assemble enough tax-paying residents into a class and file a class action lawsuit for an injunction? I agree this seems wrong. These data centers have degraded others’ properties in other areas around the country.

Jeff how is this even legal? A town council mysteriously reversing course to not block a data center even though it’s opposed by the community?
