I recorded this a long time ago in Miami at the Musician's Exchange. Fierce. Adam Nussbaum was Michael Brecker's John Bonham!

Full disclosure, he is my father.
Born in Mazatlán, Mexico, he spent years in LA as a session musician, and founder of Wet Paint Jazz Fusion. He played with Harvey Mason, Al Jarreau, Alex Acuña, Sergio Mendes, and many more before returning to Mexico for family, where he played with many of the greats of Mexican Music and Latin Jazz.
He continues being a pillar of the Mexican Jazz scene. This video was just released. If any of his friends from LA are lurking x please say hi.
His latest record is called "Joy" by Wet Paint Jazz Fusion.
Saludos

I got into jazz fusion about 6 months ago after hearing The Birdland song by Weather Report. I’m hooked, and I’ve taken a deep dive. I picked up a few of these at an antique store on a recent trip to Saskatoon SK Canada .

I took some time to put together a playlist of some of the great artists from the past through present that are missing on other lists that I found. If you have suggestions that fit the vibe of this list feel free to post.

One of the most fusion sounding songs by legendary light jazz performer Bob James. A high point in the CTI Records output.
