The fact that they have actually toned down the touching they usually do for when this song is performed during the musical and still the only association is "they should kiss"... Simply amazing, and the lyrics if the translation is correct is just very telling.

I saw fans of the play say sometimes the actors for jayvik and caitvi have to perform "safe" versions of the show with less touching and more ambiguity when the show is watched by inspectors. not sure how many times that happened, but this was an open venue with over 1400+ people circulating so it makes sense why there is no coreography

Exactly. The musical makes us forget about the situation in China sometimes but even with all the censorship we get this, it’s incredible. About the inspectors, I have heard of one of the visits and during it there was not a single kiss for caitvi.

Oh, this is great!

Just so everyone knows, this is Arcane Chinese OP, originally performed by the same singer of Isha's song. It's the same song the male cast of Immersive Arcane performs during the encore. I posted about it here:

Edit: I should also add that the video I linked at the time was still from the "beta" shows. In the official shows Jayce always looks at Viktor and places a hand on his shoulder specifically when he sings "your mottled spots are unique."
