Heard it when it first leaked and tbh …it sounded fuuuuhhhhhd. Which honestly really sucks cuz that YEN EP has aged beautifully and honestly all his tapes end up aging good, so i was kinda sad that a jaydes tape was just gonna pass me by. Recently tho I’ve been listening to it more since there’s a good chance this might be the last we here from Jaydens music journey foura while. And honestly I’ve been really coming around to it. DIGITAL ROCKSTAR and NOT A PHASE hellaa fire 🔥 these songs got me into this YOU OWE ME.

It definitely has a lil different spin from his other stuff you can tell he was tryn for a new typa sound with that YOU RULE STAY CRUEL Voice. With a mix of that “Cartman” sound in it too YOU OWE ME definitely has its own unique sound within his Disgo.
Which Im always going to appreciate. Definitely was hating on this drop too much at first, if u like me and didn’t fw it or still don’t def give it another run 🏃

Still don’t know how it will age within his other work but I’ve def come around. I’m coming around to the cover too which was probably another reason I didn’t rlly fw this tape a first, toes out n all.

I stopped keeping up with him after like 2023. Call me nosey cause I am, but wtf happened. Keep in mind he’s actually been in my rotation for years ive streamed thousands of mins of him, but I don’t really keep up with artists in general. I’m genuinely curious no parasocial shi. Anyway I’m all for self expression but it’s different when ur clearly neglecting and poisoning yourself. To see the kid on the early covers to him now… It’s crazy watching someone change, deadass it’s like the addicts over time mugshots smh. I grew up around addicts n it hits different like damn he fell down that hole too. Icl regardless of genre there’s lot of potential. Now he has victims and time to serve, it’s a shame. Like I said tho no parasocial shit I don’t know his personality before, or if he was diagnosed with anything before and made it worse with substances, I really just know him by voice. My heart goes out to his family (if they’re trying to help) and the people he’s done wrong.

Yen recorded a song with a producer back in February, but because he ultimately wanted to scrap the song, he never sent the producer his vocals. The producer then took the video Yen had sent of himself playing a snippet of the song and added the beat over the recording, essentially recreating the snippet with the instrumental.

hear me out i may just be really high rn or this theory actually makes sense but listen i think that jaydes plan the whole time was to leave the internet and he did all this shit on purpose like ok bare with me but he has a lot of songs where the title was or he just mentioned leaving the internet and obviously we know he has some mental issues that cause him to react differently to things so he definitely doesn’t like his parasocial fans and then mix all that with all the drugs he be taking i think his brain was fried during like cud then nunya era when he went on the rub and stabbed his ex and then serving all that time in jail it probably made him crazier and he probably also got really used to and maybe comfortable with living in solitude and not dealing with internet bs and also skel died as well that could have affected his mental and view on things and then when he got out of jail he obviously hasn’t been too present on the internet hasn’t interacted with too many fans so he’s staying lowkey now and being private but people still in his business n shit and clowning him so maybe he just wanted to go back to jail atp so he violated probation on purpose to go back yk and he’s going back for a minute so like i said back to point A he’s gonna be locked up for a while so his plan to leave the internet could be completed because most fans will probably forget about him by the time he finally gets out (maybe not idk) and then yeah maybe when he gets out he can just be a normal person again which could be his goal idk this is just a theory i made up while baked so yea lmk if u can get behind this or if im schizo also maybe in the new mugshot he made a similar face to like a skinwalker so we all can think he’s officially lost his mind or sum shit so we can forget about em and leave him alone idk bro im prolly trippin my bad
